Hello, I’m a professional with 14 years of work experience.
There’s only one reason I’m writing this: to share every trial, error, and lesson I’ve learned along the way. My hope is that this will help hardworking young professionals gain the recognition they deserve and, ultimately, strengthen their global competitiveness.
Currently, I work as a Cost Engineer for Electric Vehicle Batteries at a U.S. automotive manufacturing company. But here’s my background:
- Graduated from a mid-tier university in Seoul.
- Average GPA and credentials.
- English skills honed through a 7-month language training program.
- A modest, non-privileged family background.
In short, I was once an ordinary employee—no different from anyone you’d meet in your daily life.
Yet, by age 34, I became a senior-level employee at a U.S. headquarters and a top 5% performer. Through this series, I’ll share how I built my career from the ground up.
Of course, there are far more talented individuals in the U.S. than me. But when it comes to teaching others how to start from scratch and lay a solid foundation, I believe I’m the right person for the job. Why? Because I’ve walked the same path—struggling with the same doubts and setbacks many of you face today.
“If I could make it this far, so can you.”
